For customers
Useful things, made when you need them.
Customers discover Ideas and Products, signal interest, and later order and give feedback. A Product is made by a compatible Manufacturer after the Order, not taken from a warehouse.
Nothing can be ordered on this site. There are no accounts and no payments.
From Idea to Product
An Idea is a proposal or preliminary solution. A Candidate is an Idea with enough interest or readiness for its design and production to be evaluated.
A Product is a configuration of a Design version with a qualified Manufacturer, a valid Manufacturing quote and a customer-visible price. Only a Product could be ordered.
What an Order is meant to guarantee
Interest is not a purchase
Signalling interest in an Idea is never a sale, a prepayment or proof of demand. An Idea cannot be bought.
A committed price
An Order is placed at a committed price. The price and how it is split are recorded at that moment.
No silent repricing
If a quote can no longer be fulfilled, the result is an explicit exception, a cancellation or a reauthorization the Customer agrees to. The committed price itself is never rewritten.
Every step has an owner
Each pending step shows who owns it, what decision is due and how it resolves.
Traceable from Design to doorstep
Each item stays linked to its Design version, Order, Production ticket, Manufacturer, process and material. Nothing is produced until the Product steward has released the exact Production ticket.
Feedback is asked for on delivery, after about a month and after about a year. It separates design, manufacturing and fulfillment quality. Quality data appears only once collected, with sample counts.

These are undecided. Nothing on this site assumes an answer.

- Whether signalling interest needs an account.
- Which parts of an Idea or Candidate are public.
